How to create "ribbed slab" :
"The Transform To Ribbed Slab" command has been developed to convert flat structural slabs to ribbed slabs. For ribbed slab, structural slab (flat slab) is necessary. To transform to ribbed slab:
1. Generate a structural slab.
2. Click "Slab" icon then "Transform to Ribbed Slab" icon from the "slab toolbar" appearing when the slab mode is active.
3. Left-click on the slab and then right-click.
4. Select a beam as reference or determine a direction by clicking two points on the drawing area.
5.The flat slab will be transformed to ribbed slab.
Additional, the determination of typical beams is important. In order to determine the typical beams is to use the "Set Typical Beam" command. After transforming to ribbed slab, click" Modify/Entity Edit/Slab/Set Typical Beam". Left-click on at least one rib beams that you want to determine as typical. If you want to set second typical beam, you can click on another beam. Remember, meaning of continuous ribbed slab depends on continued "typical beam" you determine.
How to analysis "ribbed slab" :
For full rigid diaphragms option on analysis setting, click simply slab analysis button.
For semi rigid diaphragms option on analysis setting, click anaysis+rc button (F9)
