Vertical spring factor defines vertical spring coefficient along pile height. You need to get vertical spring factor Kv from soil report for each soil layer.

Vertical spring coefficient for per interval along pile height K:

K (kN/m) = LateralAreaofPile (m2)* Kv (KN/m3)
